The Port of Digby warmly welcomes cruise ships and yachts, providing comprehensive services overseen by our Marine Facility Security Officer to ensure vessel security and Transport Canada compliance.
Our facilities have hosted notable vessels such as the MV Balmoral and MV Quest for Adventure, facilitating passenger access to our vibrant community. We also accommodate "pocket" cruise vessels like those from Blount Small Ship Adventures and the MV Hebridean Sky, offering berthing alongside the charming Town of Digby.
In 2017, the Port of Digby and the Town hosted the ‘Rendez-Vous 2017’ - Tall Ships Regatta, welcoming eight sailing vessels for two days of onboard visits and celebrations commemorating Samuel de Champlain's historical landing in Annapolis.
Our latest infrastructure improvement includes a new floating dock designed for yacht visitations during the August to September season. Equipped with a four-prong, 50A GFCI receptacle, this dock provides shore power for visiting vessels.
Adjacent to the Port of Digby is the
Royal Western Nova Scotia Yacht Club, which offers additional services and information on their
website. Explore the many attractions and points of interest in our region and plan your visit to Digby today.
